LEAF Festival Is Almost Here
Asheville and the surrounding Western North Carolina region are home to many wonderful festivals and events all year round. Whether you’re interest is crafting, flowers, comics, music, technology, movies, magic, theater or more there is an event at some point throughout the year.
Coming up in May, the semi annual LEAF Festival (Lake Eden Arts Festival) will be taking place in Black Mountain from May 8-11. The LEAF Festival brings music, art and culture together and hopes to strengthen community through the power of creativity. LEAF festival takes place on the site of the old Historic Black Mountain College with a stunning mix of rolling hills, lakes, streams, and mountain beauty on hundreds of acres of comfortable camping grounds.
LEAF scowers the globe for artists, musicians, performers, entertainers, presenters, and teachers that not only are the great in their craft, but who also care deeply for education through arts.
LEAF Community Arts is a non-profit organization in which all donations and festival profit goes towards music and arts education programming locally and globally! Since 2004 they have served over 41,000 youth with programs in over 15 community locations and in 10 countries worldwide.
Looking to enjoy the art and music of the weekend, but not sure you want to camp? Asheville River Cabins offers a comfortable alternative to camping, while still being convenient to the festival.
